What exactly is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic care addresses many physical disorders that have a root cause in the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system. Joints, especially those in the spinal column can become "subluxated" or moved out of correct alignment exerting pressure on the nerves.

The nerves that move through your spine control and coordinate 100% of your body's functions. Therefore, if a tiny portion of the nerve is compressed it can create problems not always associated with a spinal misalignment, such as migraines, insomnia, digestive issues and more.

A chiropractic adjustment gently but precisely applies pressure to the joints, whether they be vertebral joints or joints of the hand, foot, knee or others, to open up the joint and help it to realign back into its original optimal placement.

Thus, chiropractic corrects misalignments called subluxations in order to vastly improve the function of the nervous system and related systems like the muscular system.
